Danger Zone     Kenny Loggins
Danger Zone was composed by Giorgio Moroder in 1986 especially for the, - to put it casually -, US Navy promotion film Top Gun. Kenny Loggins was only the third choice for the interpretation. Toto and Corey Hart had previously preferred to do without. Loggins probably didn't like the song very much either - and distanced himself from it for a while later.
No wonder. There is a video on the net that shows Quentin Tarrantino in 1994. There he comments on Top Gun. Quentin takes the view that the main theme of the film is repressed male homosexuality.
Well, so be it ... song goes well ...
