Digression about Bibles: In every hotel room in the - let's say - western world it was standard to find a Bible there. No law prescribed this, but it was custom and practice. The Gideon Covenant had ensured that the hotels were equipped with it and, in this way, contributed to the fact that the Book of Books is still the one with the highest circulation worldwide.  Nowadays, the Bible is only handed out on request in almost all hotels. After all, there is now the internet. But that's probably not the only reason why ... let's not get lost there.
